France brings back IS jihadists' children from Syria camps

France has repatriated five young children of jihadist fighters from northern Syria, whom it describes as vulnerable orphans.

They came back on an air force plane, the foreign ministry says, from camps housing women and children who fled the Islamic State group's last bastion.

It is a controversial move as the fate of the children's jihadist fathers is not known. France is not repatriating any adult French IS jihadists.
